Volunteers

The ISCB SC network is global and ranging wide. The Outreach Committee makes sure to coordinate new volunteers.

If you have a lot of work as a chair, it may be a good idea to define it as some simple well defined tasks, and have a group of volunteers help out. When you write to volunteers@iscbsc.org that committee will try to help finding people with the interest in what you need help for.

If you don't need to have someone joining your committee but rather have some ad-hoc tasks, you can always make a call for volunteers in the online internal communication platform (as of 2016 basecamp, General Operations channel). The more well defined your post is the better chances of response.
